I have dreamed of joy departed-
But a waking dream of life and light hath left me broken-hearted.
Tobias loved having time to himself to travel around. He had finished his business with the antis, honestly some of them were a mark too brutish for his taste and others were just psychopathic. Though like all organizations there were a few bad nuts. He did have the opportunity to meet a few interesting people who were intelligent and elegant. They understood the darker side of the reality in a dog eat dog world, but still knew where and where to apply sensibility. It was refreshing to meet with like-minded individuals, but he had to be off. As he had no pending assignments or tasks, only an incentive for finding an invite, he felt he could enjoy himself for a bit do what he does best, travel.

He walked through the small mountain town, they still open mines and such things, he could hear the machinery in the distant working in some deep mine. He came over the crest of the steep road to see a girl in the distance. He saw a faint glow around a girl, it stood out to him against the dusk colors of the atmosphere. He started to walk towards her waving his arm. He wondered what she was looking at, but more importantly he hadn’t seen her since Stalingrad. Surviving that ordeal together sealed them as friends for life in Tobias’ mind. He approached her with a leisure gait that soon started to pick up. “Truck!” He yelled as he could see on carrying a load of ore go barreling down the road in her direction.

the unimaginable light you hold inside.
The small spirit of light always thought she had a good attention span. One time, she read in a children's book that goldfish only had a five second attention span! Now, she surely had a better way of focusing on things than that, and at the current moment, the little Guardian was very much focused on the interesting rock at her feet.

It had this way that it...gleamed, it was so very mesmerizing! But it didn't look the same all the time - if Leora turned her head one way, it seemed to sparkle, but if she tilted it just slightly to the left, it glowed!
How very odd! She wanted to pick it up, and give it to one of her friends, but what if it already belonged to somebody? The little sprite would feel awful if she stole something so wonderfully precious to somebody.

The darkness of dusk settled around her, but the spirit hardly seemed to notice. Instead, her attention was fixated upon the unique little rock as she blocked out the world around her.
Even as the large truck barreled down the road towards her, only did the distant yell of an oddly familiar voice draw her attention.

Looking up with widened eyes, the light of the girl flashed brightly, nearly blindingly as her powers took a hold.
"Oh." Was all she said, no fear in her eyes as she merely zipped out of the way, just in time for the large vehicle to barrel on past her.

Brushing off her dress casually, she let her attention drift from the pebble undisturbed upon the ground, to the person that had warned her. At the sight of the familiar face, Tobias from Stalingrad, did a smile bloom across her features, quite literally brightening her expression.

"Tobi~!" The light girl practically squealed, jogging the rest of the short distance that separated them. Practically jumping onto him, the light sprite latched her arms around him with a hug, as she buried her face into his chest. "I've missed you!"
