Tooth's Palace- August 2024
With a couple taps of his foot and a trip through a mossy tunnel, Bunnymund found himself surrounded by the familiar scenery of Punjam Hy Loo. It was later in the evening, and the setting sun’s light and familiar rosy skies of the magical place instantly brought a smile to his face. It had been a long overdue visit- but the Pooka was more than looking forward to catching up with Toothiana.
If there was one thing he loved about Punjam Hy Loo it was that this place had to be one of the more magical ones that sadly most humans had no idea about. With its tall spires of red rock, glimmering golden architecture with gem inlaid surfaces, and weathered trees- the Tooth Fairy’s palace was quite a site to behold. Passing the blue oasis waters near the magical murals, Bunnymund made his way up the stairs.
Tooth’s palace was always a flurry of activity and today was no different. He could easily pick up her voice instructing the little tooth fairies of where they needed to go and which teeth to collect. And once he came into view some of the flurry stopped just as a tad as a gaggle of small tooth fairies came flying over to him.
“’Ey there, long time it’s been, ay?” Bunnymund said as the fairies cheerfully twitted and showed a very keen interest in the bag he had brought with him. “Already curious, no worries it’s just what you think it is- chocolate.”
He opened the bag to the twittering excitement of the small fairies. A couple of them swooped in taking pieces of the chocolate that Aster had made specially for them. However, one familiar tooth fairy flew over happily looking into the sack. Her feathers were a rosy pink color with just a hint of the familiar tooth fairy green and a splash of gold here and there. Excitedly she reached into the bag to get her piece only to stop and sniff it. What followed next was rather amusing, but also expected to the Pooka. The small fairy dropped the piece with a huff and looked up at Aster pouting.
“Oy, don’t be giving me tha’look Sweet Tooth. Low sugar chocolates aren’t the worst thing in the world.” He said with a chuckle.
Sweet Tooth shook her head and twittered a bit; clearly making her case that no- low sugar chocolates were the worst thing in the world. They were made of lies and cruelty.
Shaking his head, Bunnymund procured another small sack for Sweet Tooth, inside was a lovely regular sized chocolate bonbon filled with strawberry crème in all its sugary goodness.
“You going to share?” Aster asked amused as Sweet Tooth instantly brightened up and began happily squeaking. She paused in her cheers at the question and blinked, clearly weighing this.
Finally she nodded and pointed to the bonbon tracing it in half. One half, she pointed to and then to herself… which left the other half…. Well Sweet Tooth was now drawing imaginary lines on the bonbon half for the others clearly intending to eat one half for herself, and then split the other half with the multitude of other fairies. Well… he tried. He nodded and held it out to her and she took it, it was big compared to her, but her wings were pretty strong and she took the chocolate bonbon to a corner to feast. Whether she would actually share, Bunnymund was not sure, but he was glad to make Sweet Tooth happy.
Of course it wasn’t before long that Toothiana also made her way over. Bunnymund couldn’t help smiling, and he waved “G’day Tooth. How’re you? Not to busy I hope.”
LADY ARCHIVE QUEEN TOOTHIANA

It was never long after a visitor arrived in the Tooth Palace before the queen was alerted about it. The pillars were quite literally abuzz with the mini-fairies excitement. And it was a positive chatter that filled the air and Toothiana's mind as the mini-fairies alerted her to their visitor through the connection she shared with them. And so Toothiana eagerly flew from her place in the central pillar and towards the cluster of shimmering feathers and humming wings, smiling as she heard the excited chirps announcing the presence of Bunnymund. And of course he had come bearing sweets for the mini-fairies.
Honestly she a friendly visitor was a welcome thing. They had all been so on edge since what happened in Centralia just earlier this month. Her fairies were keeping their eyes out for any new threats that might be lurking and everything felt like they were on their guard. A moment or two to relax with an old friend was perhaps just what was needed.
"Bunny, it's good to see you!" Toothiana greeted her old friend cheerfully as she flew into the small swarm of fairies. "I'm doing well," she replied. "Well, we're always busy, but I see you've brought some treats to help keep everyone's energy up." She added laughing as she glanced around at the other fairies.
"And what about you?" She asked. "Everything alright?"

Bunnymund was glad to see Toothiana in good spirits. They had a difficult time recently, but like usual things were calming down once again. Even if all of the Guardians were on alert... it was nice to enjoy the quiet moments as well.
He let out a chuckle, "Can't come here and not bring snacks. Don't wanna be impolite." Aster said grinning, "Glad to help keep energy and spirit up."
At her question the Pooka's ears twitched slightly but he still smiled, "So far I'm doin' alright. Same old...same old. Just thought I'd drop in and check in on ya."
He knew that Toothiana was always hard at work. And today was no different. But it made it all the more important to visit and check in on her. He should probably pay a visit to the others as well. Even if some of them didn't like to admit it- visits like that went a long way in maintaining bonds and good feelings. And well he had nothing better to do at the moment. Easter and Spring were both pretty far out...now would be a good time to get those things done.
"Anything new up here?" he inquired with a friendly smile.
