There were few good things about being on the run. The poorest part about the situation was likely how Tisiphone's situation had affected. While she was not the most logical or intelligent of the Furies, she was not a fool. She knew that her decision had directed the ire of Pitch Black towards her sisters- for no one thought of them in the singular, always as three; the shade was no exception- and that the Lord of the Underworld would pay a price. Out of the three, both Megaera and Tisiphone had joined to protect Hades from the consequences of his actions. Now, there was no one to do so. It would likely be hard for the eldest of the three kings, particularly since he was in a situation where he could not function as easily as other anti-guardians could.

Still, she did not regret her actions.

The Avenger of Murder found herself wishing to know who she was, as a singular entity, better. No longer was she an entity attached to a faction that she despised. Moreover, she was no longer bound to Hades. In many respects, she was free. All that bound her wings, as she had gathered by her sisters' explanations, were her actions against the shadow. As a result, she recognized herself as someone...different.

Yet, she was not sure who that was. She had always been a Fury and expected to carry out justice as one of the dark counterparts to it. While she still had to do such, she was not expected to fulfill that which was expected of a being that was bound to the Lord of the Underworld. She was...her own.

She did not know this meant. Moreover, she was not entirely know who she was, as a whole. As a result, the Fury sought to discover who this might be. Stretching her wings, she flew until she came upon the valleys of a place unknown to her. From there...well, she was not sure where to go. As such, she began to walk.

Zeus was in a mortal guise yet again, it was easier to navigate the earth when he was not in his form that easily forsakes his status. But in this disguise he could still travel while avoiding suspicion. He looked like an middle aged gentleman who had his worldly possessions slung over his back. He walked in the valley, because he was planning on crossing paths with a certain someone. He had heard about Avalon, wondered what they wild Celtic deities thought of that. More importantly he was surprised his older brother even got involved with the Guardian war. He was usually the type to stay out of things like that, but he jumped ship with Pitch Black? Maybe it was a darkness or loneliness thing.

Zeus may never understand Hades’ logic, but what baffled him were the reports from the bird and creatures of the air. One of the furies struck out at the Nightmare King. It was all within Hades jurisdiction, but it seemed as the Lord of the Underworld was still on good terms with Pitch. He walked closer, making sure his godly essence was hidden from detection. He saw one of the Furies. “Good day, a dangerous path to travel in this valley.” He spoke to the woman travelling in the valley.

The path was a particularly...dull thing, in truth. Tisiphone had never understood the appeal of nature, beauty, or even the Earth. These were things that beings such as Lord Hades and Lady Persephone seemed to love, and such an appreciation had been within her understanding. She imagined that it had to do with the fact that she had spent a fair amount of her life within the Underworld. After all, the Underworld was not a realm that most would consider beautiful. It was a place of darkness, lacking even a sun. The Furies had lived in one of the few places near a light source.

She wondered if this made her strange. After all, there were those who found there to be a beauty within the realm. Of course, the realm that Underworlders loved was not the realm that Uranus or Cronus had constructed, but the one that Lord Hades had tirelessly struggled to make when he had first become God of the Underworld. Perhaps beauty was merely beyond her understanding. After all, what did beauty have to do with rage?

She came to a pause as she crossed someone upon her path. The Fury blinked at the middle-aged man, slowly taking in the kind address. Unused to kindness directed her way, she did not immediately respond. Moreover, she found herself hesitant to trust the other when she was being hunted. While she did not recognize him, she knew better than to trust him. Those of her pantheon alone were experts at hiding their appearance and divinity. She could hardly know who to trust.

"...Hello," she said after a moment. Her brow furrowed. "Dangerous?" She did not doubt her skill as the Avenger of Murder, but the comment did seem like an odd one. After all, if the path was so dangerous why was he traveling it alone?

“Yes there are many highwaymen and charlatans on the road your headed.” He said giving a friendly warning. “I never like going through valleys but they are impossible to avoid for me. I have to walk up and down these paths selling my wares to the connecting town. I have had some hardship carrying out my duties, but I have to keep truckin’ as they say.” Zeus said as he walked down the path. Did he doubt the skills of fury against the earthly forces of bandits? No, he was sure she would be able to handily defend themselves against such paltry threats. What worried Zeus was maintaining a balance his brother had grown flippant over. The furies were in danger, but they were a necessity in dispensing justice, something Zeus could respect.

“Where are you headed if you don’t mind the inquiry?” He asked, wondering how the 3 were taking their new status as fugitives from the Anti Guardians. He didn’t expect to get an honest answer from her, but she wasn’t dead or captured so that was good news. The king of Olympus care not for the edicts of the nightmare king he had no sovereignty over the planet, but he would be foolish to underestimate his power and connection. Some of his pantheon had foolishly sided with or against him.

While Tisiphone had not begun to suspect Zeus yet- the King of Gods had always been crafty, able to hide his person from even the gaze of other deities after all- she did find herself in possession of a deep suspicion. Kindness was not something she believed to come without cause. Most, if not all, creatures were greedy. Rare was it to find a being who cared for another merely because they thought they should or because it was the right thing to do. While her more supernatural qualities were hidden, uncomfortable though it was, there was little reason to care for her. Even humans found beings of her appearance startling, sometimes even worth killing.

Man had changed little over the years despite what many thought. Rage knew this well. Perhaps the only difference was that they were no longer as creative as they had once been in their cruelty.

This man did worry for nothing though. Bandits and similar criminals were beings that would be felled easily if they dared cross a Fury. Though, chances were that they might leave learning a far more unpleasant lesson. Tisiphone had always been far more cruel than she appeared to be after all.

"You must be quite poor," she said bluntly. Humans did not travel by foot much anymore, did they? Travel was far more diverse now and even the working class had several options for travel. Traveling by foot sounded rather impractical for a...what? Shop owner? That sounded like what he seemed to be.

She did find a frown coming to her face at his question. "The city." It was not quite a lie. After all, she had held no plans of going much of anywhere. Megaera had explained things well and the Avenger of Murder understood well that if she wanted to stay safe then it would be best if she avoided certain places and constantly traveled. Stopping was something that could only be afforded for her duties as a Fury. "As you are, from the sound of it."
